The municipality is dedicated to improving their natural treasures to be displayed not only to locals but also to many tourists who consider them to be fascinating sites to visit. They have a lot to offer, including stunning resorts and fantastic locations. They take tremendous pride in providing tourists with what they have.
Along the way, we had a stop over at the Punta Sojoton view deck where travelers can get a quick drink and have a picture taking. The sari-sari store sells coffee and soft beverages, and there's a stunning viewing terrace where you can get a good view of Cauayan's coastline.

Punta Sojoton is in Cauayan town, about 130 kilometers south of the capital Bacolod City. The mountains rise from Lina-on Bay in this part of Negros Occidental, overlooking the Sulu Sea in the southwest and the Panay Gulf in the north.

We found this newly-opened beautiful modernized Bahay-kubo for our staycation. We rented this Private Beach House for Php2400 per night. It has two bedrooms with a connecting bathroom, a spacious living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a terrace. It can accommodate up to 6-12 persons perfect for a small family or a group of friends. This place is perfect for relaxing, chilling and to get away from city noise.

There are neighboring locals beside the beach house but doesn't disturb the property or make any louder noises.
This was a one of the most enjoyable and perfect sundowner we've ever had! Ending a wonderful day sitting on the surf board in the warm water, watching the sunset and enjoying the peace. At night, we sat down on the beach and gaze up at the stars. Started a bonfire, gather around, and tell stories while listening to the sound of water lapping on the shore.
